Meschantes Corsetry’s unique design allows for the perfect balance of incredible waist reduction and comfort. Each piece is custom made to your exact measurements and engineered to withstand years of normal use. A 4”-6” waist reduction is possible with proper waist-training. Our corsets are solidly reinforced and fully lined with 2 layers of durable cotton twill. Each corset (except where noted) features a spring steel busk front closure, a mixture of spiral and spring steel boning (customarily 20/22, depending on size) and lace up the back with sturdy round cotton lacing an grommets in black, nickel or brass. Durable twill tape at the waist adds extra reinforcement for the longevity of the garment and superior waist control. All fabric corsets come with an attached back lacing protector and fabric underbusk. All styles can be ordered with a closed front for a totally smooth line under garments for no additional charge. Leather/PVC/Vinyl corsets come with an underbusk, a loose back lacing protector can be added for $10. Mail-order muslins are available upon request for additional fee, please inquire. Unique changes to corset or special patterns may require a patterning fee. For matching skirts, costumes, chemises, and other garments, please inquire. Pre-approved customer supplied fabric is acceptable. Additional fees may be necessary for extra lining or interfacing, mirror-matching of patterns, etc. Note that some fabrics once received by corset maker may require a $15 bonding fee to insure durability over time and tight-lacing; customer will be notified if fee results after placement of order and prior to corset construction.
